Breathable waders are for August. When the water is 45 degrees and you are standing still in it for three hours waiting on ducks, you want neoprene, and you want the boot insulated. This is that wader for a hundred and change, and that is the point of it.
What you are buying
Five millimeters is the duck-blind standard, and that is what these are. The boot has its own insulation so the feet, which are the first thing to quit, stay in the game. Knees are reinforced, seams are taped, the front pocket is fleece-lined, and the suspenders unclip so you can drop the top for the drive home.
What you are not buying
A lifetime. These are a budget wader. Expect a couple of good seasons, then a pinhole somewhere and a patch kit. For a new hunter, a kid who is still growing, or somebody who gets out five days a year, that math works. For somebody who is in the water every Saturday, it does not.

You hunt every weekend from November to January. These are a two-season wader, not a ten-season wader. Buy once, buy right, if that is you.
